THE 100% LIVE CONCERT
Recently the muri Okunola Park came alive as three of Nigeria’s biggest stars – Simi, Adekunle Gold and Praiz brought their A-game in a 100% live performance complemented by a full live band. The show, which was its maiden edition, featured the best of alternative and mainstream music in a carnival-like atmosphere and gave live music lovers who were present an unforgettable experience. It kicked off with performances from D-Truce and Sammy, setting the mood for other fantastic performances to come. Praiz was the first of the headline artist to hit the stage. He thrilled the crowd with a rendition of his hit songs, including ‘Sisi’,‘Rich and Famous’, and more. Simi was next up. Supported by her Banjos band, she began with a performance of ‘Complete me’, before running through ‘Smile For me’, ‘Owambe’, ‘Aimasiko’, and ‘Joromi’. Adekunle Gold rounded off the show. Literally clad in a golden outfit, and backed by his band - The 79th Element - he took fans through his debut album, with songs such as ‘Ariwo Ko’, ‘Sade’, and more.
