Honeywell Flour Empowers Youths

-

Honeywell Flour Mills Plc has reiterated its readiness to continue inspiring the youths by engaging them in activities that will explore and expose their creative talents.

The company, which co-sponsored this year’s edition of the Vision of the Child Live Painting and Literary Arts Competition titled “The Road to Sambisa” noted that developing youth entrepreneurship is key to its policy.

The Executive Director, Marketing, Mr. Benson Evbuomwan, speaking at a press briefing to flag off the competition, said the company would continue to support initiatives and programmes that would positively impact the lives of the youths.

“We got the proposal to sponsor the competition and we were excited about it. So, every opportunity to interact with little children, any opportunity we also have to also encourage children to express the gift that is inside of them we always like to take advantage of such opportunities, because as a company that is what we stand for.” He added that it is the core of Honeywell’s vision and mission to use enterprise to make the world better.

“So where will enterprise comes from? It comes from the talents and gifts that are inside of all of us. People have talents which they don’t even know about until you give them the opportunity to showcase those talents. Some people need to be helped, some people need to be given the opportunity to showcase their talents, so we believe that we all are provided the opportunity to really express our talents so that we can make our world better”, he said.
