Residents of Arepo community in Ogun State recently benefitted from the free medical services organised by the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Dominion Chapel to mark its fifth anniversary.

The church deployed medical personnel to the Arepo Community Primary School, to check the blood pressure and sugar level of residents who thronged the venue to avail themselves and their wards of the church’s Community Social Responsibility (CSR).

The beneficiaries, who were medically counselled, went home with mosquito nets and drugs to treat malaria.

The four-day celebration which kicked off on Thursday with a special Faith Clinic Service, ended on Sunday with a thanksgiving service, in which the Assistant Pastor-in-Charge of Lagos Province 21 (APICP L21), Pastor Olabisi Olowoyo, ministered with the anniversary theme titled: “God of Grace”.

Olowoyo, who stood in for the Pastorin-Charge of LP21, Pastor Peter Egho, took his text from 2 Peter 3: 18. He listed 30 benefits that could be enjoyed when an individual operates under the grace of God, and laced each of the benefits with relevant bible scriptures and passages.

He also unveiled the maiden edition of the Parish magazine and inaugurated the Wellness Centre established by the church to cater for the health needs of members.

In his remarks, the Pastor-in-Charge of the Area (PICA) in Dominion Chapel, Pastor Victor Ayodele, acknowledged the assistance of the APICP since the inception of the Parish even as he thanked church members for their support for the modest achievement of the church.

Evangelists Tunji and Tope Alabi were on the choir stand with members of their band to thrill the congregation to ever-green gospel tunes.
