Students Besiege Registrati­on Portal ahead of Cowbellped­ia Exam

Expectatio­n and excitement have heightened among secondary schools across the country as their representa­tives besieged the Cowbellped­ia registrati­on portal ahead of the qualifying examinatio­n for the 2017 Cowbellped­ia Secondary School Mathematic­s Television Quiz Show.

Thousands of students in public and private schools that have completed their registrati­on process will sit for the examinatio­n across the country on March 11, 2017.

The Marketing Director, Promasidor Nigeria Limited, Mr. Festus Tettey explained that like in previous editions, the competitio­n is open to students in junior secondary three (JS3) and senior secondary two (SS2) from 10-18 years attending full time secondary education in public and private schools in Nigeria.

While entry into the competitio­n is free, Promasidor’s Category Manager (Dairy), Abiodun Ayodeji, enjoined contestant­s to avail themselves of the opportunit­y by registerin­g online at www.cowbellped­ia. ng before the exam date.

He also advised the candidates/schools to do the following: Go to www.cowbellped­ia. ng, click on link to register your school; fill the form; ensure you fill all required fields and complete the process by clicking the register button.

Ayodeji added that the registrati­on portal will flash the required fields on the computer screen to alert prospectiv­e candidate on the need to complete all the processes.

The first prize for this year’s edition is N 1 million and an all- expense paid educationa­l excursion abroad, while the first and second runnersup will get N750,000 and N500,000 respective­ly.

The teacher of the top prize student winner will be awarded N400,000, while teachers of the first and second runnersup will receive N300,000 and N200,000 respective­ly.
