For organisations to survive in challenging times, like the current situation in Nigeria, leadership performance has to be enhanced beyond the ordinary. In line with this, TEXEM, a United Kingdom based enterprise focusing on executive education, has organised yet another executive masterclass for CEOs and other top executives both in the private and government organisations.

The programme, which was titled Leadership for High Performance in Difficult Times was held on March 9, at Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. The executive programme was facilitated by Head of Managerial Communications at the MIT Sloan School of Management, Prof. Neal Hartman.

The programme which commenced with the accreditation and registration of the delegates was attended by senior executives from Airtel, UBA, Leventis, Nigeria Breweries, Swisstrade, BusinessDay, among others. The themes covered include leading in times of success and in crisis, improving leadership performance, building a high performance culture, high performance influence and persuasion driven change, the mindset of high performance negotiating and conflict management.

Hartman delivered the lecture with the aim of increasing the participants ability to achieving communication objectives and leadership goals, and increasing the ability to achieve desired response from the team.

The programme ended with the presentation of certificates to the delegates by the Director of International Trade at the Deputy British High Commission, Ahmed Bashir, OBE.

Participants were delighted and appreciated the delivery of the training and looked forward to TEXEM’s forthcoming executive trainings.

By partnering major global enterprises, top universities and renowned faculties, TEXEM has developed series of educational programmes that address the challenges facing business today, in terms of research consulting and the skills gaps within and outside Africa.

TEXEM noted in a statement that a great feature of attending its executive education programme is that participants are particularly engaged in tailored programmes designed specifically for African senior executives, delivered by faculties at the forefront of analysis in their fields at some of the world’s best seats of learning.
