Chevron Nigeria Limited (CNL), has alerted members of the public to the circulation of fake recruitment information apparently being master minded by fraudulent individuals and groups purportedly acting on behalf of the oil giant. Specifically, the company dissociated itself from the advertisement of job vacancies by the faceless people, using various channels and making financial demands on applicants supposedly to process their job applications. Chevron, which is the operator of the NNPC/Chevron Nigeria Limited Joint Venture, said in a statement on Friday, e-mailed to THIS DAY in A saba, that it was“aware of the circulation of false recruitment information posted by unscrupulous persons or organisations in the name of Chevron Nigeria Limited or“Chevron Oil and Gas” in several media and online channels, advertising job positions in Chevron Nigeria Limited or“Chevron Oil and Gas ”.
