In an effort aimed at enhancing the creativity of children, Bond FM, Lagos, will in October, hold a boot camp to teach them how to turn waste to wealth and impact their immediate environment.

The General Manager, Mr. Bandele Dada told Journalists, recently, that the children will be there for a period of six weeks when they will use the holiday to do something creative with their time to enhance their talents, adding that the move will go along way in demystifying technology.

According to him, “we want the children to come here and learn skills on how to use waste material to create something that they can use in decorating their environment. With the knowledge that they gather at the camp, the children can start working on their own ideas. They will also be taught different languages. ”

He expressed optimism that if the initiative is able to capture 10 to 20 percent of homes, then at the end of the day, it will be able to impact about 10,000 homes, adding, “that is what drives us.”

“Rather than buy made in China products, parents can send their children to learn the necessary skill to use waste to make Christmas tree, and toys for instance, and do other things to beautify their environment in their own spear time. We will help nurture talents in the area of Arts,” Dada said.
