For Africa’s richest woman, Folorunsho Alakija, this is definitely a season of celebratio­ns.

In the past one month, Alakija has been involved in the celebratio­n of life at home and abroad.

A few months ago, the beautiful oil and gas guru literally broke the bank when she organised a superlativ­e wedding for her son, Folarin, who married an Iranian lady, Nazanin Ghaissarif­ar, at the Blenheim Palace. The marriage was said to have cost her £5 million.
