PSG Move: Neymar Storms Out of Barca Training

- Guardiola Craves for Long City Stay Conte Inquires about Sanches

Brazilian striker, Neymar stormed out of a Barcelona training session on Thursday as speculation mounted about a world-record move to Paris St Germain.

A personal appearance in China next week was cancelled because he was said to be "busy with transfer business".

Pictures of Barca training in Miami for Saturday's game against arch-rivals Real Madrid in the International Champions Trophy showed Neymar having to be kept apart from teammate Nelson Semedo before removing his bib and stomping away from the session.

Suggestions that he might have weighty matters on his mind increased when Chinese travel agent Ctrip posted on its official Weibo account that it has had to cancel an event with Neymar because he is "busy with transfer business".

Ctrip said the event was scheduled for Shanghai next Monday and that anyone who had bought tickets would be refunded.

PSG have reportedly held discussions with Barcelona about a transfer for the 25 year-old that would smash the world record £89 million Manchester United paid for France midfielder Paul Pogba last year.

Neymar's buy-out clause was set at over €200 million but that does not appear to have deterred PSG, who are backed by Qatari finance and lost their French league title to AS Monaco last season. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola hopes to stay as long as possible at the Premier League club and build a squad that can deliver long-term success, the Spaniard has said.

City have spent over 200 million pounds ($261.48 million) on transfers, according to British media, after Guardiola failed to win a trophy for the first time in his managerial career last season.

"I will try to remain as long as possible to help, to help City keep moving forward and stay high," Guardiola, who begins the second of his three-year contract this season, told reporters.

"I think the club has to work and listen to the manager in the right moment, but also take their own decisions in the future. Nobody knows what will happen. For all the managers in the world it depends on the results."

Guardiola has made an effort to significantly lower the average age of his City squad, overseeing departures of Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna and Aleksandar Kolarov since the end of last campaign.

He also recruited several youngsters into the squad, including goalkeeper Ederson, midfielder Bernardo Silva and full back Benjamin Mendy.

"The new players have come in and we know the kind of energy they have to give us a really good chance to fight for the titles," Guardiola added. "All the players' averages are so, so young, so for the next five, six or seven years they will be here." Chelsea manager Antonio Conte personally enquired about Renato Sanches earlier this week, according to Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

Sanches, who was voted best young player at Euro 2016 and also won the 2016 Golden Boy award, suffered a frustrating first season with Bayern as he struggled to establish himself under Carlo Ancelotti.

The 19-year-old admitted earlier this week he is "not satisfied" with his lack of playing time at Bayern and would consider leaving in search of more playing time.

AC Milan have held talks with Bayern about Sanches but Rummenigge says they are one of a number of clubs, including Chelsea, interested in signing the Portuguese international.

"There are at least 10 teams after Sanches," Rummenigge told Italian publication Gazzetta dello Sport.

"Conte asked for some information about him after Tuesday's match because he knows he can make the difference on the pitch.

"Carlo Ancelotti was pleased with his performance against Chelsea so we can make some decisions on him later."

He added: "Almost certainly we'll let him leave just on loan, we still count on him."
