Campari Thrills Abuja Residents with Music, Comedy

- Nikon Sets to Stir Market as it Clocks 100

As part of its corporate social responsibi­lity initiative­s, premium internatio­nal drink giant, Campari, hosted its Abuja customers to two separate musical concerts held at Transcorp Hilton Hotels in Abuja.

According to the company, the essence of the musical engagement was to connect more with its Abuja loyalists as well as respond to their yearnings.

The concert tagged, “3Kings with 2Baba’ and ‘Eargasm’” was headlined by award-winning artiste, Innocent Idibi, aka Tuface Idibia, who is also the product’s brand ambassador.

The event afforded the fun-seeking crowd opportunit­y to experience live musical and comic performanc­es from the likes of Ycee, Reekado Banks, Acapella, MC Apere, MC Ugodo, MC Longinus and others who cheered up the high-spirited residents.

According to the company, “Eargasm” was held in support of a United Nations High Commission­er for Refugees (UNHRC) initiative for the Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and had in attendance hu- manitarian­s and sympathise­rs to the plights of IDPs.

The emotional-laden event which also featured the 75th birthday celebratio­n of music legend, Bongos Ikwue was graced by popular singers like waje, Kelly Handsome and Styl Plus.

Speaking on the initiative, Brand Manager, Campari, Rilwan Shofunde, said.

“We understand the yearnings of Abuja residents for exciting moments, hence our support for a thrilling weekend experience. We will continue to offer stimulatin­g experience all through the year through our ‘Campari Dare to Mix’ activities. We implore our customers to continue enjoying a mix of our product.” Also speaking, Tuface, addressed as Mr. Campari at the occassion, said, “I am glad to have shared exciting moment with my fans in Abuja. My visit and support for the displaced persons is an experience that is worth sharing and more importantl­y, to encourage everyone to enjoy life signature mix, Campari Senator, mixed with beer.”

The firm also rolled out a wide range of products as part of activities to celebrate the century existence. Some of the products included gunmetal D5 and D500 SLRs and the 14-24mm f/2.8G ED, 24-70mm f/2.8E ED VR, and 70-200mm f/2.8E FL ED VR
