Carnival Promotes Made-in-Nigeria Products
Nigerian Brands Carnival, a trademark platform of Brands Carnival Project Development Nigeria Limited and the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment are promoting entrepreneurship among Nigerians, towards the patronage of Made-in-Nigeria products. A delegation led by the Project Coordinator, Adegboyega Ojuolape, to the Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Aisha Abubakar,saidthecollaborationwouldenhancethecommercialisation of Made in Nigerian products. Ojuolape said that they were exploring opportunities for Nigerian manufacturers to reach out to government, opinion leaders, the private sector leaders and budding entrepreneurs to project and protect Made in Nigeria products.He described the Nigerian brand carnival as the integrated platform that gives corporations and entrepreneurs the opportunity to tell their stories, share experience and collaborate to support Nigerian products and services. The seven-day event is targeted at 774 brands from across the 774 local government areas in the country. The daily exhibition will consist of exhibition, Made in Nigeria Conference, musical performances, award presentations, comedy show, dinner and the launching of Face of Made in Nigeria competition. “We are here to see how we can leverage on what you are doing to develop the economy and also how the SMEs can key into the benefits and help in developing the economy generally.”
