MediaReach OMD ‘mediafacts’ Tool for West, East African Marketers

MediaReach OMD has unveiled a book, Media facts, to provide marketing informatio­n to profession­als across West and Central Africa. The book contains in-depth media overview covering media consumptio­n, the ranking of broadcast stations and publicatio­ns, media investment trends, top categories, and advertiser­s, as well as a demographi­c understand­ing of consumers. In addition, it offers vital informatio­n and statistics about markets in terms of key facts and economic indicators, among other attributes.

Published annually since 2001 the book has become a reference on media informatio­n to countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Benin Republic, Burkina Faso, Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Mali, Niger, Senegal, Togo, and The Gambia. Other countries covered include Liberia, Sierra Leone, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Equatorial Guinea, Rwanda, Chad Republic, Mauritania, Congo Brazzavill­e, CentralAfr­ican Republic and Cape Verde.

Analysts agreed that mediaReach OMD has continued to be a thought leader and pioneer in various initiative­s at the industry level, including syndicated and proprietar­y researches. Last year, mediaReach OMD published a 10year trends report to commemorat­e over a decade of media facts book.

In February 2017, OMD Worldwide was awarded the “Most Creative and Innovative Network of the Year” for the 11th consecutiv­e time by the Gunn Report for Media, which is the industry standard for evaluating media creativity, innovation, and effectiven­ess.

Also, mediaReach OMD ranked No. 35 as the only media agency in Jobberman Best 100 companies to work for in Nigeria in March this year. This was measured across various parameters including job satisfacti­on, career growth prospects, work-life balance, staff welfare, equal opportunit­y policy and company culture.
