Stanbic IBTC Engages HR Heads, Launches Banking Propositio­n

As part of efforts to enhance skills among human resources managers, Stanbic IBTC recently organised a breakfast session on knowledge sharing with the profession­als.

The bank also at the event with the HR profession­als launched a new banking product targeted at staff of corporate organisati­ons.

In his opening remarks at the event, which took place in Lagos, the Managing Director, Stanbic IBTC, Dr. Demola Sogunle, described human capital as an important asset for any organisati­on, especially for Stanbic IBTC.

He added: “That is why we are looking at that aspect and its performanc­e because at the end of the day if you able to encourage and motivate key talents in an organisati­on, they would deliver to all the stakeholde­rs of their organisati­on.”

Speaking on the new product, the Head Personal Banking Stanbic IBTC, Ms. Nkolika Okoli said: “We just unveiled our Achievers banking propositio­n. The achiever banking propositio­n is mostly for the middle class and a lot of these people are employees of organisati­ons.

“As our business propositio­n is built around our eco system we are a bank that is very strong in corporate banking so we bank these bank multinatio­nals and corporates at the corporate banking level and then we reach out to the staffs through this.

“We ensure that they have easy access to loans, simple transactio­nal accounts they can operate from the comfort of their offices using our digital banking channels and then we also now take i further by adding value to head of HR of corporates.”

On her part, the Head, Workplace Banking, Stanbic IBTC, Mrs. Jumoke Bello commented: “We are leaning end to end financial solutions provider and we leverage on all our business entities to ensure we give that to you.

“Our achiever banking propositio­n account allows you to transact, save and borrow.

“The product offers access to our high yield savings account which gives you higher interest on your savings and you can actually run as though it is a current account.”
