GAC Motors Partners Conference 57

It was a gathering of eagles at Restaurant 1415, EKO Signature and Suites in Victoria Island as GAC Motors hosted all 57 Local Government Chairmen in Lagos State recently.

The event began with the vehicles speaking for themselves in a Test Drive session where each of the Local Government Chairmen took their turns in test driving the GAC Motor GS8, GS4 AND GA3S vehicles. According to the Secretary of ‘Lagos Conference 57’ (the name adopted by the council of Local Government Chairmen in Lagos) Mr. Ariyo Bolaji after his Test Drive, ‘GAC Vehicles are not bad at all’ he said. Another participan­t, Mukandasi Ogidan noted that GAC vehicles offers more value than many known auto brands in Nigeria.

The Marketing Manager CIG Motors, Mr. Kayode Adejumo, in a presentati­on took the delegates through the different events and sponsorshi­ps partnershi­ps by GAC Motor in the music, film industry, sports and politics recently. He noted this shows that for GAC Motor, it’s not just about selling cars, it’s about impacting lives

Mr. Scofield Wu in his remarks enlightene­d the delegates on the technologi­cal makeup of GAC Vehicles with top parts suppliers used in the assembly of the vehicles. He noted that for GAC Motor, safety is a major considerat­ion when designing the vehicles. According to him, the steering of GAC Motor vehicles disintegra­tes in the event of a front collusion by accident which makes a GAC vehicle safer to drive than many other vehicles in the market

General Manager Access Bank a financial partner, Mrs. Iyabo Ogunsanya reiterated this as the most interestin­g feature of GAC vehicles in her opinion. She mentioned that the involvemen­t of Access Bank in the partnershi­p is to further highlight how highly the bank takes the GAC brand. According to the Bank executive, GAC motor vehicles are in the bank fleet used for the daily banking movement.
