Iria Osa’s Grace Concert Debuts in Lagos

-

For music lovers across Lagos metropolis, who witnessed one of Nigeria’s fast rising Singer, screenwriter, poet and talent management manager, Iragbonse Osa’s ‘The Grace’ concert last weekend, it was indeed a testament of Nigeria’s flourishing talent hub.

Iria and friends started by Iria Rii Osa as a vision to worship God and honour her late mother of inestimable value, Grace, who passed unto glory two years ago.

In her words, “My decision to honour her with music is because she always motivated me especially singing in church, she loved that I had a special interest in music. That vision has grown beyond something that's just about me. Now, it’s a movement to show God's grace, telling others that the grace of God isn't about their works but a free gift from God. The grace concert isn't about putting up a show but about worshipping God, so while there's merriment, the focus is on worship. However, we are a young, fun loving group of people that solely trust and depend on God because we are beneficiaries of His grace.’’

The maiden edition of ‘The Grace’ concert with Iria and friends held last weekend on the with a select number of fast rising gospel artistes namely and not limited to Password, Viva, Oceanessa, Cute Sagay, Winter, Protek, Fido Cleff, Ptee and Iria who led the gang of musicians in deep worship.

The concert also staged a drama presentation and a live stage painting by a 17-year-old Isaac, who painted the portrait of Jesus in five minutes. The young artistic genius no doubt left the audience spellbound.
