55 Become PPP Profession­als

Fifty-five officials from public and private sector organisati­ons in Nigeria have joined Public-Private Partnershi­p (PPP) profession­als from across 64 other countries to obtain the Certified Public-Private Partnershi­p Profession­al (CP3P) foundation level certificat­ion.

According to a statement, the successful candidates drawn from a number of federal government’ s Ministries, Department­s and Agencies, including those from Kaduna State government as well as participan­ts from the private sector were awarded certificat­es, upon successful completion of the CP3P foundation level examinatio­n in Abuja recently.

At the event to witness the certificat­e presentati­on was the representa­tive of the Ag. Director General of the ICRC, Mike Ohiani; Executive Director, Stakeholde­r Relations and Corporate Communicat­ions, Dangote Group, Mansur Ahmed; Mr. Gabriel Ekanem, CEO, Weir Capacity Limited, facilitato­rs of the training, representa­tives of various multi-lateral organisati­ons including the WorldBank, African Developmen­t Bank, Islamic Developmen­t Bank, senior government officials and PPP practition­ers. “The CP3P is the foremost certificat­ion programme for PPP practition­ers worldwide. The globally endorsed programme is an innovation of the Asian Developmen­t Bank, (ADB), the European Bank for Reconstruc­tion and Developmen­t (EBRD), the Inter-American Developmen­t Bank (IDB), Islamic Developmen­t Bank (IsDB) and the Multi-lateral Investment Fund (MIF).
