We are indeed happy for this feat. We want to seize this occasion to specially appreciate our teeming customers and the Nigeria society at large, Amisha stated.
Founded in 1992, ADVAN was set up to advance the interest of the Marketing Industry in Nigeria by spearheading and ensuring global best practice as well as facilitating collaborative partnership with relevant stakeholders.

Indigenous solar technology company, Rubitec Nigeria, has raised the bar of professionalism among operators in the renewable energy sector, as it engaged them in an extensive training session to improve practice and output in the field.
The exercise which was implemented alongside Chinese partners, Jinko Solar, gathered solar distribution companies, installers and dealers across the country to boost their knowledge and experience in the use of quality solar panels for energy projects.
Speaking on the initiative, Chief Executive Officer of Rubitec, Mr. Bolade Soremekun, stated that the idea of the programme was to enhance offerings in the industry to the advantage of consumers and the country at large.
He said, “As a brand committed to not just delivery but efficient delivery, we deemed it fit to improve knowledge in the field, most especially on solar panel. We realise that a lot people know less on the solar panel technology, yet the quality of electricity output in our homes is a function of and originality of a solar panel.
“With more and more people embracing renewable energy sources, most especially the rural areas which constitute higher percentage of the Nigerian population (about 60%), it is important that we get the technology right.”
Soremekun who identified inability of the masses to afford solar energy as one of the challenges of the innovation in the country, stated that the company has devised a new solution to cater for this category of people.
“Our solution is to provide electricity for Nigerians through our solar project based on Public and Private Partnership. We build solar plant, put solar on the roof, metre the people, and maintain the project while they pay just like they pay the Discos.
‘’If there is a big company that wants to do megawatts, which cost them billions, we collect the money and give them solar plant. We can also build solar for villages, street and traffic lights, water pump for irrigation and for banks to power their automated teller machines, he added.
Also speaking, Sales Manager, Central Africa, Jinko Solar, Victor Koyier, commended the initiative and expressed optimism on the outcome of the programme.
