EX-NIGER GOV, SANNI BELLO, CELEBRATES

For Col. Sanni Bello, a former military governor of Niger State, every day is special in some way. But last Monday was specially different in that it reminds him of the day he was brought forth into this world some decades ago.

In view of this, Bello, who is the Chairman of Mainstream Energy Solution, has cause to celebrate, as he was a year older last Monday. Some who were privy to it had expected it was going to be a soiree like no other, but perhaps, for his quiet nature, he opted for a low-key celebration.

The celebration was not without class and panache a man of Bello’s calibre.

Besides, even as he revels, he feels so great as he prepares for his 51st wedding anniversary with his wife, Hajia Rabi.

The man who was recently honoured with the title of ‘Kurutya U Bem’ which literally means, The Warrior of Peace, by the TIV Youth Peace Initiative, will also be celebrating his wife, who joins the septuagenarian club in a couple of weeks

Forbes once famously described him as “genius, ferocious entrepreneur, impressive philanthropist.” A number of important dignitaries, including former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida; former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar; Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sanni Bello, reportedly sent congratulatory messages to him.
