Jasen Blu Gets Mega Recording Deal
Upcoming R&B prodigy, Jasen Blu, is headed for prominence as his label, Nubiana Records announces a partnership deal with Bellynini Records to execute his upcoming projects, which has Twelve02 Media at the helm of management. This is coming after the release of his latest single, “Already” earlier in 2017 which, despite minimal promotion, was well received by fans and critics. It is also charting within Rhythm FM’s Top20 for twelve straight weeks.
Both companies revealed the status of the partnership on their social media pages and also confirmed the title of Jasën Blu’s debut body of work aptly titled “Soulwave”, further solidifying Blu’s several earlier hints at the title in his various social media posts.
Bellynini Records are on a high note, confirming the new partnership and announcing “Soulwave” in an excited Instagram post. “Jasen Blu is a true artist with unmatched passion, who has been able to lay a good foundation for his career with hard work and unwavering focus,” the post reads. “We are happy to have him in our corner and look forward to a great run working with him on this project and subsequent ones.”
“We are highly delighted with the venture,” a Nubiana Records rep said. “We have been in talks with several record companies for a while, Bellynini Records happens to table a matching option with our direction, considering very important factors like artistic freedom, fair dealing and result-oriented mindset as compared to other offers. We will now proceed to unleash limitless awesomeness to the world in the shape of Jasën Blu and all he is capable of.”
“I’m excited about the new deal,” says Jasen Blu. “I feel great, but I just suddenly got busier than ever, so I have to strike a balance. Good news is that I’ve worked so hard in past few years creating music, right now I’m several albums deep worth of materials. Now, it’s time to serve it hot and fresh for everyone. According to sources from both camps, Soulwave is slated for release in the first quarter of 2018.
