FCT Minister Espouses Unity, Peace

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, has enjoined all Christian residents in the territory to use the occasion of the Christmas to reflect and to rededicate themselves to the virtues of love, unity and peace.

He gave this charge in his Christmas message to FCT residents during the festivities. In the statement signed yesterday by his Chief Press Secretary, Cosmas Uzodinma, Bello described these virtues as the recurrent themes of the message of Jesus Christ.

He said: “On behalf of the administration of the FCT, it is my pleasure to wish all FCT citizens, especially the Christian faithful, a merry Christmas.” Bello appealed to all Nigerians, especially the Christian faithful, to use the season to pray for our leaders and indeed our country so that we may enjoy peace and progress in the coming years.
