Transcorp Hotels Calabar Wins Award

Transcorp Hotels Calabar, a subsidiary of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc has been recognised by the Cross River State Safety Commission as the ‘Best Safety Compliant Hotel’ in 2017. The award was bestowed upon the hotel recently, for achieving a standard of safety management. According to a statement, the hotel had over the years been attracting numerous acclaim owing to its painstaking attention to detail and its infusion of world-class structures and standards into its everyday activities to satisfy its guests and customers. The General Manager, Transcorp Hotels Calabar, Mr. Chuma Mgbojikwe, who expressed delight at the latest award, said its focus and investment in training and retraining as well as maintaining high quality standards in the area of safety, security and hygiene was paying-off for the hotel. He added: “We take great pride in this award and recognition. We have seen a consistent improvement in our hygiene standard and this has certainly helped to increase guest satisfaction.” Continuing, he enthused, “We’re very proud to win this award -- it is great to receive global recognition for the hard work our team members put into delivering a high standard of hygiene and safety.” Mgbojikwe assured of the hotel’s dedication to focus on maintaining excellent standards in all its activities.
