MPM to Hold World Anointing Programme

In commemoration of the annual 21 days fasting and prayer which ends with an anointing prayer night, the Manna Prayer Mountain (MPM) ministry has announced the 2018 prayer night will hold on January 26 at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.
The Assistant General Overseer, Rev. Flora Kwakpovwe noted that it will serve as a point of contact with God in prayers to usher Christians into the New Year.
She said: “The programme is all about prayer, about what God wants from us as regards fasting and prayers. At the beginning of every year, we commence on a 21 days fasting and we round it up with a powerful prayer night. It’s going into the presence of God.
“Our daily manner started small, people going through it saw the need to meet with the bishop for prayers. When we started the yearly prayer, we discovered our auditorium here can’t contain the crowd anymore, so we move down to the national stadium first and later we moved to TBS. we were using the stadium but we wanted a safer place, so we chose TBS” she said.
Speaking further, she said the programme is ordained by God as a breakthrough event which will make positive impact on Nigerians as individual and the nation.
“There are things individuals will get from fasting and prayers because the Bible said we should walk in the way of the Lord, so it will help us as individual to walk in the path of God. As a nation, if it can affect the individual then we will be able to impact the nation. Going into the presence of God, there will be breakthrough which will not only positively affect us as an individual but also as a nation. What makes our annual program unique from other program is that we are not just a denomination but other churches come to fellowship together, so it’s an interdenominational gathering. This program has been on for 10 years now” Rev. Flora said.
