These are some of the thoughts in the minds of his far-flung fans since the news broke that the handsome dude is reportedly being tipped to contest a senatorial seat to represent Ondo North senatorial district at the upper chamber on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
A source told Spy Glass that though he had not made his intention known, he might throw his hat into the ring come 2019 for the Senate, as “many are urging him to consider the elective post for good representation.”
The source added: “Remember he was the director-general of the Goodluck Jonathan Presidential Campaign Committee in the build-up to the last presidential election. Consequently, he has been able to position himself as someone who can be trusted.”
His rise to fame in the marketing communications sector has been laced with thorns and roses. At a time when most of his mates were traversing the length and breadth of the country for seemingly non-existent jobs, Tokunbo Modupe was only interested in selling ideas. In the eyes of many, he was simply a loafer! Many condemned him with their actions and inaction. But he was unperturbed because he had a clear vision of what he wanted to do in life.
