ALEX OTTI AND 2019 ELECTIONS IN ABIA

-

Minutes after Osama Bin Laden’s inspired terrorist attack on the World Trade Center (WTC) and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, the then US President, Mr. George W. Bush held back tears and said, “Terrorist can attack the foundations of the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, but cannot touch the foundation of America”. In response, emotionally revived Americans chorused, “God bless America “!

Today, Alex Otti’s name is mentioned countless times negatively by non- performing political desperadoes, their allies, and their media agents who see him as a baby intruder who’s coming to take away their mouths from their mother’s breast. Unlike Otti who’s more concerned about the health of the breast feeding-mother and the fate of the numerous unfed babies whose loud cries have even provoked the heavens, these breast sucking adults are willing to see the mother and the unfed babies pass away as long as they, the breast sucking adults meet their temporary satisfaction. The breast sucking adults are the Abia political undertakers who are yet to wake up to the realities that this small man called Alex Otti with a big God could challenge, expose their leadership ineptitude and seek to end their oppressive leadership which has seen the economic fortunes of Abians continuously go south.

The most shocking is that, in their above-God poor political permutations, these people thought that Otti would disappear immediately after the 2015 governorship election, but they failed to remember that when God wants to redeem his people, he chooses a servant whom he equips beyond the comprehension of little minds.

We have repeatedly read the many juandiced analysis of our opponents which have continuously and fallaciously set out to present Okezie Ikpeazu as a governor that has re-written the chequered history of Abia and wiped out the tears of oppressed business men and women, and those of the miserable Abia workers. At the same time they deploy every space, energy and resources to present their political nightmare, Alex Otti as an enemy that must be cut to size by hook or crook, so that he doesn’t plunge them into perpetual sorrow by disconnecting them from their anti-people economic route.

With the level of fear, sadness, desperation and intolerance with which the Okezie Ikpeazu team and the Peoples Democratic Party are going into the 2019 governorship election, 2019 obviously promises to be very interesting in Abia.
