Six Winners Emerge in Malta Guinness Maltavator Challenge
From thousands of enthusiastic participants and fans who thronged the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos for the final leg of the pan- African Maltavator Challenge International TV show audition, six contestants have emerged winners. The lucky contestants who beat others after a physically and mentally challenging competition were Stanley Babalola, Oge Nwabueze, Evans Edeha-Ideji, Igboecheonwu Jane Fransisca, Opanubi Toyosi and James James. These winners will be joined by zonal winners from Enugu and Benin to slug it out for the ten finalists that would represent Nigeria in the Maltavator Challenge which promises a grand prize of $ 20, 000.
As early as 7am, over 2000 excited consumers had besieged the stadium for registration for a chance to be one of the 10 contestants to represent Nigeria at the Maltavator Challenge International TV show to be hosted in Nigeria.
There was so much fun and excitement the contestants engaged in a series of physical and mentally tasking challenges including Maltavator Obstacle Course, the Gladiator Duel, the Ball Pool Treasure Hunt and the Maze contest.
Speaking at the event, the Brand Manager, Malta Guinness and Premium Non-Alcoholic Drinks, Ifeoma Agu, said “the Maltavator challenge has been very fulfilling across the different cities we have been to and the turnout in Lagos is really overwhelming.
This proves to us that Nigerians are very passionate Go- Getters and Malta Guinness will continue to be that brand that fuels their can-do spirit to greatness.
The Maltavator challenge TV show is a platform that challenges Africans to unleash their Can do spirit with optimism and reach for greatness.”
The Pan-African TV show will have 40 contestants from Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire and Ethiopia and all the eleven episodes of the TV show will be shot in Nigeria and aired across 52 African TV stations starting from April 2018.
