Investment One Launches Two Funds to Encourage Wealth Creation

Investment One Funds Management Limited, a subsidiary of Investment One Financial Services, has launched two new products, the Vantage Dollar Fund (VDF) and the Vantage Equity Income Fund (VEIF).

The VDF is a SEC approved open-ended fixed income dollar fund that will invest in Dollar denominate­d securities issued by Federal Government of Nigeria and Nigerian corporates. According to the company, the VDF will ensure a balance between capital appreciati­on and income for investors with modest risk appetite.

“Thus Investors will enjoy a preservati­on of their Dollar assets, as well as earn competitiv­e returns on investment,” the company explained.

The initial public offering price is units of $1 each at par and investors can opt in with a minimum investment of $1,000 and multiples of $500 thereafter. The offer size is only 2,000,000 units ($2million).

Investment One’s second product, the Vantage Equity Income Fund (VEIF) is an equity-based mutual fund. It will invest in blue chip equities that have a 5-year track record of paying dividends. The VEIF is targeted at investors with a medium to long-term investment perspectiv­e who seek portfolio diversific­ation with profession­al management.

The VEIF is sold at an initial public offering value of 500,000,000 units of N1 each at par and potential investors can buy units in the fund with a minimum of N50,000 and in multiples of N10,000 thereafter.

According to Investment One, the VDF and VEIF opened for subscripti­on from Monday, April 23 and would close Friday June 1, 2018. The company added that both VDF and VEIF allow investors to redeem units as needed. Kedari Capital Limited is the issuing house for both investment products.

It explained that to apply for units of these funds, investors could download the subscripti­on forms and prospectus fromwww. investment-one.com or walk into any of the designated branches of the receiving bank, Guaranty Trust Bank Plc in Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt and Ilorin.
