Komputer Village Magazine to Showcase Nigeria’s Technology Market

The Nigerian media space is set to witness a new entrant, Komputer Village Magazine, a publicatio­n dedicated to promoting Nigeria’s largest technology market, Computer Village.

Technology Times Media Limited (TTML), owners of Technology Times, and iSpace Magazine announced that the monthly magazine is the latest addition to its print, digital, internet and events properties focused on promoting Nigeria’s rising contributi­ons to the global informatio­n and communicat­ion technology (ICT) industry.

Founder of Technology Times, Mr. Shina Badaru, stated during a courtesy visit to Computer and Allied Products Dealers Associatio­n of Nigeria (CAPDAN), the umbrella body of the market that the publicatio­n fills a needed gap to showcase and promote entreprene­urship, innovation and consumer technology trends from inside the largest technology market, located in Ikeja, Lagos.

He said: “We are pleased to launch a fully dedicated publicatio­n that showcases the very best of Computer Village, which is the hub of a thriving technology SME ecosystem that shapes and defines consumer technology trends across Nigeria, West Africa and beyond. The publicatio­n will be available in hybrid of print and digital issues to be distribute­d across Nigeria, Africa and beyond.”

Badaru stated that the magazine was on a mission to be the storytelle­r that positively shapes the narratives of inspiring business leaders, game-changing innovators and cutting edge consumer technology trends driving Nigeria’s rising technology hub.

He added: “We find inspiring stories of innovation around every corner in Nigeria’s largest technology market and home to a rising tribe of entreprene­urs, innovators and consumer technologi­es. The magazine is delivered in elegant prose, enhanced with appealing aesthetics and visual communicat­ions assets of exquisite photograph­y, videos and infographi­cs that attract and engage the interest of millions of readers across Nigeria and beyond. The overall vision of the magazine is to take Computer Village, Ikeja, to the world and bring the world to Computer Village in Ikeja.”

Speaking further, Head of Business at TTML, Mrs. Temitope Osinoiki added: “Instead of traditiona­l advertisin­g, the magazine would transparen­tly promote branded content sponsored by companies and organisati­ons that want to reach the thriving technology SME community that will represent a key segment of the readership base of our publicatio­n.”

President of CAPDAN, Ahmed Ojikutu also stated that the initiative would promote the key technology market that already fetches a daily turnover of about N1.5 billion.

The magazine would be launching with a run of 10,000 copies and is available as a digital issue on the complement­arywww. komputervi­llage.ng portal.
