And today, the shoe brand “Frisch” is doing exceptionally well. We have clients at home and abroad. In fact, 60 per cent of our clients are based outside Nigeria (USA, Malaysia, South Africa, UK).

The shoe business started during the ASUU (Academic Staff Union of Universities) strike in 2013. The popular six months strike, so instead of being idle in the house, I took it upon myself to learn shoemaking and made two pairs for myself when school was about to resume. People saw it and liked it and asked who made it and I told them I made it. Then they would tell me to make for them and that was how it all started.

S-Alcott is registered at the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission to carry out the businesses of agriculture, construction, logistics and transportation. We started early this year and we are growing. My dream for S-Alcott is for it to become one of the biggest conglomerates in Africa, providing employment for tens of thousands.

Whoareyourrolemodelsandmentors? My mentor is Femi Otedola and in five years, I would want to be recognised on 30 under 30 Billionaires.

Howareyoudifferentfromotheryoungentrepreneurs? I have a very strong passion to excel in all my endeavours; I’m very enduring, resilient and patient. I understand you don’t start a business one day and then it booms next minute, so I’m very patient and I just trust the process.
