Nigerian Society of Engineers Holds Training

The Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) Victoria Island branch in conjunction with T&R Energy Consultants Limited and Simply Exponential Consult Limited, have concluded plan to organise a one-day leadership workshop tagged ‘Strategic Leadership as a Tool for Business Stability and Career Development,” on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018 Colonnades Hotel, Lagos.

This programme is to enable their engineers, other professionals and business owners learn unpublished practical lessons from seasoned industry practitioners.

In a statement, the Managing Consultant of Simply Exponential Consult Limited, Mrs. Fayo Williams, who jointly initiated the Leadership Toolkit Series in March, 2018; stated that, “While there is a need to train women to be effective leaders and break the glass ceiling thereby moving up the career ladder, 21st century leaders in general should be equipped with strategic leadership skills in order to be placed in positions where they can lead their organisations innovatively and achieve better results.”

She further explained that the workshop was designed to provide participants with techniques that are guaranteed to increase productivity and growth in their role as professionals or individual contributors within the organisation.

Oil and Gas Consultant at T&R Energy, Engr. Prisca Kanebi, corroborated this by saying participants at the workshop would be equipped with tools on the imperatives of compliance, mentorship and creative leadership.
