Adamu Garba’s Audacity of Belief
Not born with the silver spoon, and despite life’s travails, a seemingly austere future, and daunting challenges, Adamu Garba made the best of life through his modest achievements. The 36-year-old presidential aspirant is also Chief Executive Officer and Founder of IPI Solutions Nigeria Limited, a leading cloud computing company with headquarters in Lagos. His decision to throw his hat into the ring, no doubt, gives hope to the younger generation.
The accomplished Information Technology and well medalled cloud computing expert is seeking nomination under the All Progressives Congress (APC). It’s fair to call his action “Audacity of belief”.
At 26, precisely 10 years ago, he earned his stripes as an emperor, controlling fortunes, legitimately milling money while asleep and driving competition to the back bench. He’s been through life’s rubbles.
But today, he is by all standards comfortable and accomplished in his own right. Away from his entrepreneurial pursuits, he is pushing the envelope further into the political space, on the heels of his burning interest for the people, thus eyeing the nation’s top job to become Nigeria’s next president in 2019.
The young man has an excellent manifesto that can transform the lives of ordinary Nigerians, improve trade, healthcare and education, and define the soul of the true Nigerian identity.
Nurturing the ambition since 2003, and knowing full well that Nigerians are predominantly youths, about 65 per cent of the population being under 35, he is quite optimistic that his dream of becoming the next president is near.
