There are millions of young designers that are yet to be discovered, yet they have a lot of creativity to show to the world. WFSW is not only to discover them and leave them all by themselves, they will be empowered by attaching them to established designers in Warri and Lagos for further trainings. We are also aiming to prepare them for bigger fashion shows in Nigeria and outside Nigeria. The show has economic relevance because it is designed to run annually and geared towards helping the country to realise the full potentials of the fashion industry by showcasing Delta State’s undiscovered fashion talents and pushing them into limelight,” she said.

Highlighting the lined up programmes she stressed that he fashion week will start with pre- auditioning of upcoming designers where the best 10 candidates will be picked to showcase at the first day of the fashion week thereafter, the best three designers will emerged and finally the best among the three will be crowned as the Warri Best Designer Of the Year 2018. However, the remaining two and the winner will be empowered with cash and material prizes to start their own fashion career. WFSW, will be concluded with a recognition award ceremony to appreciate some Deltans who have excelled in their chosen career and have shown good influence on the youths in Delta state.
