Pedini Bosch Undergoes Restructur­ing

One of Nigeria’s leading kitchen manufactur­ers and distributo­rs of Bosch home appliances has revealed that the company is currently being restructur­ed for greater productivi­ty. Speaking at an event recently, the Chief Executive Officer of Pedini Nigeria, Chiedu Nwokolo said, “over the past two years, Pedini has been building its brand identity and listening to the pleas of her customers and prospectiv­e clients and we have been re-strategisi­ng and reposition­ing to serve you better.” Explaining further, he stated that “we are currently working on a deal where clients who purchase our entry level kitchens, that is the Vurn brand, would get an insurance cover for their family members from one of Nigeria’s leading insurance companies. “We are also currently running a promotion whereby customers who purchase a Vurn kitchen would get 50 per cent off on the next kitchen purchase, which means that two friends can partner to buy two kitchens for a fraction of the price.” Also speaking at the event, the chief operating officer, Emmanuel Enejoh said, “Pedini is poised to be the premier destinatio­n for all products kitchens and has the vision to become the largest kitchen manufactur­er in the sub-Saharan region by 2025.” Enejoh said the Pedini group would expand its product offering, with additional products related to the consumer end of the kitchen and food industry, saying, “We are excited about our future and our past achievemen­ts and hope to recruit the right set of skills to help us fulfil the dream of our founder.”

Shoprite Gets Brand Ambassador

One of the leading retailers in Nigeria, Shoprite, has appointed a Nigerian chef as its brand ambassador. Shoprite announced a chef, Tolu Erogbogbo, who is better known as Chef Eros as the first ever brand ambassador in its 13 years in the country. The self-taught chef, who started selling chicken seasoned with spices to his fellow students whilst studying for degree at Internatio­nal Business Management, was quoted in a statement to have said, “If you want to cook like a chef, shop like a chef.” Erogbogbo whose culinary journey began in school said his creativity, originalit­y and attention to detail is what truly set him apart. “Part of being a chef, is to know how to entertain, that’s why I choose Shoprite,” said brand ambassador. With a total of 25 stores, Shoprite Nigeria offers consumers a world-class shopping experience through its core business promise of everyday low prices. The supermarke­t chain’s extensive range includes restaurant quality products such as extra-matured Steakhouse Classic steaks, wine sourced from the top-wine producing countries around the world, freshly baked breads and so much more.

RenMoney Reposition­s for Improved Services

RenMoney Microfinan­ce Bank, one of Nigeria’s leading consumer finance providers, has embarked on a re-organisati­on programme to position the company for growth and sustained market leadership into the future. According to RenMoney’s Head of Legal and Compliance, Ighiwi Erhahon, the company has, as part of this process, recruited some highly experience­d people into very senior positions. Some of these appointmen­ts would be formally announced as soon as they are approved by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Internally, RenMoney’s focus is on simplifyin­g operations and policies in line with its vision to be the most convenient lending company in the country. RenMoney Microfinan­ce Bank started operations as RenCredit in 2012, under a unit microfinan­ce banking license in Ikoyi, Lagos. In December 2013, RenCredit MFB Limited was re-branded to RenMoney MFB Limited – the name by which it is known today. RenMoney provides convenient lending, fixed deposits and target savings account.
