SchoolKits Partners CASIO, Inuagurates Ikeja Store
SchoolKits, Nigeria’s leading back-to-school retail chain and wholesale supplier of educational resources, recently partnered with the world leader in calculators and educational resources, CASIO, to ensure that genuine CASIO calculators, label printers and accessories are available in the country.
The organisation also inaugurated its new store at the Adebola Shopping Mall, GRA, Ikeja, Lagos which features an expanded retail space, upgraded customer experience and a wider assortment of products.
The partnership, which sees SchoolKits becoming CASIO’s strong distributor in Nigeria for its education and business solutions divisions products, is a culmination of discussions between the management of SchoolKits and the CASIO Middle East, which held at the CASIO Regional Head Office in Dubai earlier in the year.
This partnership is against the backdrop of Casio’s assessment of SchoolKits as a key player that has the capacity to drive sustainable market access and development opportunities for the brand.
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) of School Kits, Mr. Tayo Osiyemi recalled how the organisation started 18 years ago saying, “From a little beginning of one retail outlet and two support staff in 2000, SchoolKits has grown organically to a company with eight locations in Lagos and Abuja, a robust ecommerce and wholesale businesses with a distribution footprint that cuts across all states, including the FCT in Nigeria. With the partnership, he said SchoolKits will leverage its retail and distribution footprint across Nigeria to make authentic CASIO products easily accessible; ultimately bringing to the Nigerian customers the best of technological tools available in the world to help them excel their skills in Mathematics and science; and eliminate other suspicious products that counterfeit the brand.
