The Osun State Debacle: Was Davido To Blame?

-

Isn’t this boy expected to be at the NYSC camp? Did we not see pictures of him regaling his fellow corp members at the NYSC orientation Camp? So what was he doing in Osun State mobilizing and causing massive distraction on behalf of his dancing uncle? You see why in things like these, everything and every strategy must be looked into. The APC led by its legendary but seemingly withering party leader must have felt that they had everything covered including releasing salaries and pensions that for whatever reason the bearded governor found it expedient not to pay for months in order to ensure a landslide victory. But to the consternation of all, the results threw mud into the whole matter. I have been consulted as a world renowned political scientist to look into events leading up to the election and come up with recommendations to the central working committee of the party to ensure that this does not repeat itself especially with what is unfolding in Lagos. After serious analytical and intellectual exercise, which saw me, speaking to so many stakeholders, I came to the conclusion that all the blame should be left at the door of the NYSC. They are the ones that did not keep Davido busy in the camp or wherever it is they keep them these days. He was left to roam the Osun landscape, moving all the young girls and some boys to go and vote and you know, that those ones will not look at the very ‘powerful’ programmes and policies the APC has unleashed on Osun for the past eight years and the promises they plan to unleash on them , but will just be dancing ‘assurance’ as they cast their votes. The strategy was simple: they got their candidate dancing; they got the young, single ladies dancing and singing and that was it. So my people, na NYSC cause am. Simple!
