Property Merchant, Sir Olu Okeowo’s Legacy

-

Sir Olu Okeowo, a property merchant, certainly has all the comforts of life at his beck and call. In addition, the billionaire businessman has a commanding sense of fashion. He is a showstopper any time, any day. But if you think this is all there is about him, you are wrong.

He is also a strong believer of Gamaliel Bailey’s saying that “Never respect men merely for their riches, but rather for their philanthropy; we do not value the sun for its height, but for its use.’’

His act of philanthropy is worthy of emulation, as he has dedicated his life and time in service of mankind. He is said to be generous to a fault.

The Gibraltar boss is the unseen hand behind many humane projects that dot our landscape. It was gathered that the Sir Olu Okeowo Physiotherapy Centre, the new physiotherapy building at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, Idi Araba has just been completed and will be dedicated and commissioned next Wednesday.

The commissioning is expected to be graced by top scholars, businessmen, politicians and high-level government officials.

The gesture makes him one of the biggest donors to the institution. The property mogul is known to have a soft spot for advancement of humanity. Indeed, people who have come in contact with him have also affirmed that he’s always in constant quest to influence and give back to the society.
