DOA Wins in Three Categories at 2018 Law Digest Awards
A top commercial law firm in Nigeria, Duale, Ovia and Alex-Adedipe (DOA), has won three awards at the 2018 Africa Law Digest Awards held last week in Victoria Island Lagos.
The Law Firm which was founded in 2016 by the trio of Adeniyi Duale, Soibi Ovia and Adeleke Alex-Adedipe, was nominated in six categories by the panel adjudicating this year’s awards and came out tops in three out of these categories.
DOA won the categories of Young Managing Partner of the Year, Managing Partner of the Year and Emerging Law Firm of the Year, having been nominated for: Emerging Law Firm of the Year (1-3 Partners; Young Managing Partner of the Year; Managing Partner of the Year; Property, Infrastructure and Construction Team of the Year; IP and Technology Team of the Year; and Power, Energy and Natural Resources Team of the year).
The Law Digest Africa Awards, recognises and honours excellence in the African legal services market. The awards are based on the opinions of peers, and on in-depth research conducted by the Law Digest. The awards concentrate on growth, innovation, capacity building, community engagement and customer care.

DOA was also nominated in several categories at the 2017 Law Digest Awards and won awards in two key practice areas: Telecommunication, Media & Technology (TMT) and Real Estate & Construction at the Nigerian Legal Awards.
