THE SIGNIFICANCE OF PARTY AGENT TRAINING

-

Party agent training is critical in taming electoral fraud masterminded by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other perpetrators of election fraud. Perpetrators of electoral fraud work in collaboration with political parties, security agents and INEC officials using cooked figures. The above view is consistent with the Nation’s newspaper report of the presidency affirmation that the era of awarding fraudulent votes to favourites’ political aspirants is gone. But how true is this affirmation in the recently concluded Osun State election and Ekiti State election and its recent warning restraining the US, UK and European Union from interfering with 2019 general election? The party agent holds the key to ensuring free and credible election across every level of electoral position in Nigeria. To clean Nigeria’s electoral process from election fraud, we must hold unto party agent strategy. Party agent strategy as last resort for gaining victory amidst election fraud is not a respecter of any political parties, whether PDP, APC, SDP, ANRP or ADC. It is the hope of political aspirant without Godfather that desires to govern with clear objectives of bringing economic prosperity to his people. Party agent strategy is effective in winning election with a less attractive party and without the selling of your soul to fraternity group. It is the pathway to ensure righteous gain in political relevance in a politicised society like Nigeria. Therefore, it is time the righteous arise to political position using party agent strategy. As we prepare to elect new leaders into different leadership positions in the forthcoming election in 2019, it is expedient political parties pay attention to party agent training. It is proper education of party agent that can help to tame election rigging and fraud in a complex society such as Nigeria. To this end, political parties must initiate party agent training programmes so as to protect their vote jealously. More importantly, we are expectant of a credible, free and non-violent election from INEC and the presidency.
