In true Kim K style, On Air Personality, Toke Makinwa posted sexy pictures of hers in bikini to mark her 34th birthday, writes Ferdinand Ekechukwu
After teasing followers on social media for days, Toke Makinwa released a series of sexy pictures to celebrate her 34th birthday last Saturday. In one of the pictures posted on Instagram, the author and multimedia personality put her wet body on display in a white bikini on a beach. “Woman thou shall love yourself. It’s my birthday,” she wrote.
Changing to a red bikini, she added in another message: “I woke up today with nothing but Joy. My journey is one of grace, nothing but grace and mercy. Just a girl with dreams and God said yes. Thankful for another year, here’s hoping this chapter rocks even much more than the last.”
In another post on her birthday, she captioned, “The Book of TM…. Chapter 34 – 03/11. . . A queen. A conqueror. Like a Phoenix, you rise woman; after each fall, you rise. Keep rising fearlessly, burn the earth with your awesome, keep thriving TM, keep pushing happy 34th birthday TM. Your best days are here.”
The last few weeks has seen Toke trend on social media for many reasons. From shooting her shot at Don Jazzy to revealing what the value of her private part is in monetary terms.
In true Kim K style, the sexy images exemplify Tokes allegiance to the American reality television personality Kim Kardashian. And within a short while after posting, her birthday pictures generated over a thousand comments. “So she is 34 years old that means she is still young. No need to worry, the right man will surely come your way,” and “Whether she is 34 or 38, she still looks good. Stop the hate…Hbd sexy lady Toke!” a plethora of description showered on her. However, a handful also attacked her.
It is believed that the author seems challenged on building on past achievement and set on more accomplishment. Toke reportedly has made herself familiar in the literary circle since launching her book. The aftermath of this saw her speak to undergrads at the New York University (NYU). She was invited to talk about building a successful brand in a digital space.
The journey to stardom for the vibrant Toke was no fairytale but one filled with major uphill battle paved with heartbreak, betrayal, public humiliation and bad press. From stories about her bleaching her skin, to torrid allegations about affairs here and there, as well as suffering betrayals from close friends including the one she ended up marrying, Toke saw them all and pulled through, against all odds.
She also endured the heartbreak of finding out the birth of her husband’s love child with the same lady he cheated her with. The sting and humiliation was especially painful because she was at the height of her career at the time. Despite the public humiliation and constant negative press, Toke doggedly held her head high through it all and when it seemed all was calm, filed for divorce, which in turn led to even more ugliness and legal tussle.
