DISAPPEARING ACTS: THE CURIOUS NEW LIFESTYLE 0F OLU ADEWUNMI

-

When Olu Adewunmi fell in love with Adeola of “The Bookworm Fame,” bliss blossomed within the cockles of his heart and his soul pandered to love’s fickle truths. But passion has a slender body that breaks too soon, he would find. Olu eventually fell out of love with Adeola and their laughter became jaded by the debris of frowns and the glee of waking beside each other soon spun into a vortex of pain.

Thus as the proverbial fairytale romance brews and chars within the hearts of dreamy lovers, so did the couple’s fabled love bloom and fade.

Eventually, they called it quits with each other and either party moved on. Since their separation, Olu has been carrying on as if he is not keen to try his luck again, in marriage. He has been living a life unencumbered by love and commitment.

The dashing dude has since embraced the hustle to make money rather than search for a soul mate that seems elusive.

Despite his seeming aversion to love, not a few people looked forward to another union between him and Karen Koshoni, a lawyer, when reports surfaced that both were an item. Mischief-makers went to town with allegation that Olu was the reason Karen bade farewell to her

marriage to Patrick Koshoni.

The rumour was, however, nipped in the bud soon after it broke out although the parties offered no denial of a close relationship, which rumour mongers interpreted wrongly.

That piece of rumour, which highlighted sordid details of the alleged amorous relationship, was tagged wicked and the figment of imagination of suspicious individuals. While rumour mongers went to town with news, that Olu alleged involvement with Karen, led to the crash of his marriage, the claims held no water in the face of vehement rebuttal by the affected parties.

Soon after Olu and Adeola called it quits with their marriage, an uglier rumour rent the air, indicating that issues of infidelity were responsible for their crashed marriage. Like Olu, New Yorkborn Adeola has equally moved on, attending to various businesses where she serves as a founder, a director, board member or an investor.
