Lil Kesh, Timaya, Others To Headline 2019 Europe Culture Tour

Following last year’s successful outing with Reekado Banks on his ‘The Party 2018’ European Tour, music promoter and tour manager, Alex Ozone’s entertainment management outfit, 03 Media, announces its line-up acts for its 2019 promotional tours in Europe.

This year, YAGI Entertainment founder Lil Kesh will kick off its first leg of series of quarterly tours in the Schengen region of Europe. The Schengen region has shown particular interest in the artiste in recent times according to the music promoter.

Opening on Friday, February 15 in Istanbul, Turkey, Lil Kesh is billed to perform in 16 cities across eight countries in Europe. The tour is expected to come to a halt on Thursday, March 21 in Cyprus.

Dubbed Culture Tour, the tour is fashioned to properly project Nigerian artistry through live performances, and also to bridge the gap that exists between artistes and their fans in the diaspora.

“Part of what we do is to promote Nigerian culture across the globe, most especially in Europe,” said Ozone as he explains the goal behind the tour. “We have been doing that for the past five to six years, and it has been successful.”

Deviating from his pattern of including just two or three acts in his yearly tour calendar, Ozone expanded on the number of acts that will take part in the tour this year. “For 2019, we are starting with Lil Kesh. It will be followed by Timaya... that will be in May. And we have Tekno on board, Patoranking, Kizz Daniel, Reekado Banks, Zoro — who is on serious demand over there — and Victor AD among others.” Ozone also remarked on the increased acceptance of Nigerian music in Europe. “People are turning up for shows unlike back in the days when artistes play in a small room.”

Thus, signifying that the vision behind the tour is gradually coming into fruition.

The tour is a collaborative venture with Afro-Euro Entertainment and Urban Entertainment.
