Rangers Can Surprise CS SfaxienToday inTunisia, Says Bonsu

-

Rangers Goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu, is confident that the Flying Antelopes call pull off a surprise by securing away victory against CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup Group B match at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri in Tunisia this afternoon.

“It’s when we go for away matches that we are going to have big pressure to deal with; we shall do our best to ensure we qualify from the group,” Bonsu observed yesterday ahead of the big clash.

“We are ready. I’m ready if I’m picked to keep and the most important thing is to help the team to victory,” he stressed for emphasis.

Interestingly, the Flying Antelopes’ fire power will be boosted by the return of big striker Bobby Clement to the team.

Clement returned to Rangers after a stint in Kuwait and made his Confederation Cup debut at home against Salitas FC of Burkina Faso in Enugu.

Head Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote is excited by Clement’s return and is likely to hand him a starting shirt this evening in Tunisia.

“He’s back to the team and we hope he helps us get a result in Tunisia,” Ogunbote stressed yesterday.

The AITEO Federation Cup winners parade the leading scorer in this year’s CAF Confederation Cup, Godwin Aguda, who has scored six goals so far this term.

“Aguda is now a lot calmer and so he’s taking his chances well. I hope he continues that way,” the Rangers coach remarked.
