-

The Lagos State Chapter of Cherubim and Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria which has 104 churches and 20 local divisions is organising its sixth Annual General Conference. Headed by Snr. Supt. Apostle Joseph Adagba, the church is scheduled to hold the conference from Thursday, November 7 to Saturday, November 9, 2019 from 10:00am- 4:00pm at the Cathedral of the Praying Band of Cherubim and Seraphim Church (Ijo Ita Balogun) at No 1, Akintan Street, off LUTH Road, Mushin.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Godly in Christ” which was taken from 2 Timothy 3vs 12) and the

keynote lecture will be delivered by Pastor Gideon Oyedepo. The church said the carefully chosen theme is aimed to remind members of the C&S Unification Church of Nigeria that as Seraphs, they are a chosen generation meant to live and work in Christ, our Saviour.

This year’s conference will focus among other things, on ways to further forge a one and united front as followers of Christ in the society.

As part of the activities lined up for the conference, there will be lectures, workshop, breakout sessions, all geared towards examining the role and impact of their various units and churches in the various local government areas of the state with a view to further impact the various communities where their members reside in the state.

Part of the ways they have been impacting their members and communities where their members reside in the state over the past years are establishment of cooperative society, reaching out to the elderly, empowerment of youths, helping to secure jobs, scholarships (first degree and elementary), over 1800 sponsored to the Holy Land, provision of funds to start up a business.

During this coming conference, they will also be deliberating on further ways to collaborate with the activities of the Lagos State Government under the leadership of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, so as to engender more robust relationship with a view to fostering a more united and prosperous state which accommodates a wide varied and diverse tribes from all parts of the country and many parts of the world, since millions of Seraphs are resident of the state.

As a group of churches operating in Lagos State, they have observed that some elements unknown to the Cherubim & Seraphim Church often hide under the veil of the church to perpetuate unwholesome acts, but they are using this medium to assure the general public in the state that the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria under the leadership of His Most Eminence Solomon Adegboyega Also (JP), is peopled with God-fearing, law abiding citizens of the state.

So, anyone found doing things against the law of the state is not and cannot be a member of the Cherubim & Seraphim Unification Church of Nigeria in Lagos State. The event is open to Seraphs and non-Seraphs.
