The Accident Investigat­ion Bureau, Nigeria( AI B) has called for a collaborat­ive effort with the Nigeria Air Force( NA F) for mutual support and benefits in the areas of common interest. The Commission­er/ CEO of the Bureau, A kin O late ru made the call at the Bureau’ s head quarter in Abuja recently during a courtesy visit by the Abuja Internatio­nal Airport Commandant, Group Ca pt. N. S. Has san. O late ru, expressed optimism in the ability of the Nigeria Air Force to work in collaborat­ion with the Bureau to secure material evidence around aircraft crash sites from being tampered with during air mishaps. He added that tampering with material evidence inhibits accuracy of the investigat­ion. The Commission­er also called on the Nigeria Air force to patronise the agency’ s Flight Safety Laboratory, equipped with the state oft heart facilities and well-trained personnel for effective download of most Cock pit Voice Recorders( CV R) and Flight Data Recorders( F DR) found on modern aircraft. O late ru further stressed that the laboratory offers the Bureau cheaper and faster conduct of accident investigat­ion of aircraft crash, other than taking the CV Rand F DR abroad for download. In his response, Has san, thanked the Commission­er and his top management team for having him in his office. He assured the agency of the Nigeria Air Force’ s support and collaborat­ion in areas of common interests and mutual benefits in the onerous task of ensuring aviation safety and security when theneedari­ses. The Command ant’ s visit came on the heels of there centre location of the Bureau’s corporate office to Abuja in line with government’s directive.

Mixta Scheme Subscriber­s Get Houses

Mixta Africa has announced that it has handed over the first unit of Beechwood Park estate to its owners. They have really kept to their brand promise”, said Mr and Mrs Akpata, thehomeown­ers. Delta Adds 1,000 Flights

Delta AirLines has announced that it will add 1,000 flights in July to boost its service and non-stop connectivi­ty to popular summer destinatio­ns and major business markets. The airline noted that as economies reopen and border restrictio­ns are lifted, Delta would add almost 1,000 flights system-wide in July, boo sting service and non-stop connectivi­ty to popular summer destinatio­ns and major business markets. Customers traveling or considerin­g travel this summer can feel confident in a safe experience throughout the journey, from check-into baggage claim. Delta has implemente­d several measures to encourage extra space and provide peace of mind at the airport, as well as committed to cap ping cabin seating at 60 per cent in main cabin, 50 per cent in first class as well as blocking middle seats through September 30,2020. Pending a lift on border restrictio­ns, Delta said it would resume service to customer favorite summer destinatio­ns – four-times weekly service from New York-JFK to Lisbon and daily service from JFK to Athens. Delta is also expanding its focus on hub-to-hub flying to coastal markets by adding four-times weekly service from Boston to Amsterdam and daily service from Seattle to Amsterdam.
