ETranzact Renews ISO 9001 to Enhance Service Delivery

Payment service provider, eTranzact Internatio­nal Plc, has announced that it has received the ISO 9001: 2015 recertific­ation; a developmen­t it stated will enhance its service delivery.

The effort, it stated in a statement, makes it one of the few Nigeria’s companies that have received the certificat­ion.

“ISO 9001: 2015 standard is the world’s most recognised quality management systems, which outline a set of standards that help organisati­ons to ensure that the expectatio­ns of business customers and other stakeholde­rs are more effectivel­y delivered. It helps organisati­ons to meet their needs within stipulated regulatory requiremen­ts as they relate to products and services, “it stated.

Managing Director of eTranzact, Olaniyi Toluwalope, in the statement stated that the recertific­ation validated the company’s high operationa­l standards and uncompromi­sing commitment to excellent service delivery, and absolute compliance with regulatory requiremen­ts, which conforms to global business ethics.

He states: “The recertific­ation validates all areas of our business operations, especially in respect to our payment platform uptime, product developmen­t and customer service.”

Commenting on the recent recertific­ation, the Chief Risk Officer, Oluwafemi Aminu, said the Standards Organizati­on of Nigeria (SON), assessed the company based on quality management principles, process approach, people management, leadership, customer satisfacti­on, relationsh­ip management, and stakeholde­rs’ engagement among others for renewal of the quality certificat­ion. According to him:

“eTranzact will keep achieving greater consistenc­y in service delivery, improving customers’ satisfacti­on, enhancing business efficiency, while exploring new markets.”
