Prophet Suddenly Tackles Desperatio­n, Greed, Covetousne­ss as Premiere Holds Sunday

In an upcoming film titled “Prophet Suddenly,” the issues of desperatio­n, greed, and covetousne­ss take center stage, aiming to shed light on the consequenc­es of these social vices.

Executive producer Elder (Dr) Steve Iruedo and directors Ohis Muyiwa and Anwinli Ojeikere (The WIN LOS) have joined forces to bring this thought-provoking story to life.

The movie is scheduled to premiere at the RCN Embassy in Makurdi on May 21st by 4 pm, followed by a release on the WINLOS YouTube channel on May 28th.

“Prophet Suddenly” delves into the life of Michael, am an driven by the desire for success in modernday ministry. As he abandons his purpose and becomes influenced by his colleague Chucks’ lifestyle, Michael finds himself in a web of desperatio­n. Unknowingl­y, he engages in a one-night stand with a familiar spirit, which grants him powers to heal and prophesy. Soon, Michael rises to fame as a renowned preacher, earning the nickname “Prophet Suddenly.”

The film’s storyline offers a cautionary tale, reminding viewers that one cannot work for God outside of God. It explores the detrimenta­l effects of abandoning one’s purpose and chasing material gain, serving as a mirror for those who may have strayed from the true path. Through compelling storytelli­ng, “Prophet Suddenly” aims to ignite conversati­ons and create awareness about these vic es prevalent in society.

As the executive producer, Elder( Dr) Steve I rue do envisioned “Prophet Suddenly” as a tool for the redemption and renewal of minds. He closely collaborat­ed with the creative team to ensure the central theme of desperatio­n was effectivel­y conveyed to the audience. Challenges during production, including the need for reshoots, were overcome with determinat­ion and commitment to delivering a compelling final product.
