Actress Benedicta Ogbang Shares Her Thoughts on Burning Issues

The recent resolve of the President Bola Tinubu’s administra­tion to ensure a more inclusive and prosperous future for the country’s creative economy seems to have given impetus to players and stakeholde­rs in the nation’s creative and entertainm­ent industry to contribute to growing concerns about his administra­tion.

Following the criticism about the President Tinubu’s policies, especially by some entertaine­rs DQG 1LJHULDQV D 1ROO\ZRRG DFWUHVV ÀOPPDNHU and Miss Heritage Nigeria 2015, Benedicta Akpana Ogbang, has shared some of her thoughts on some of the burning issues, while urging Nigerians to be patient with the current administra­tion.

The former SA to former Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade said Nigerians should

be hopeful for a better tomorrow.

She said: “I believe everything in life is political and we need to all play a role as citizens to make sure the President succeed and not sit behind our phones to criticise everything that the president does.

“Elections are long gone and 2024 budget has been signed, which means the President is ready to hit the ground running regardless of what anyone thinks about him. I strongly believe in his leadership qualities because he’s a builder of people and I believe everything will fall in place eventually.

“Let us just give him a little more time. He’s a father and no father will want to see his children VXͿHU IRU VR ORQJ ZLWKRXW FRQVLGHULQ­J WKHLU wellbeing and future. I think he should also listen to the plight of the people and make sure everyone appointed in various capacities is focused on the responsibi­lities assigned to them. He should also make sure his appointees are accountabl­e to the people through their decisions and actions,” she advised.
