Tek Experts, Cytek to Boost Managed Security Service in Nigeria, W/Africa

Tek Experts, a leading global provider of technical talent solutions, in collaborat­ion with its sister company Cytek Security, has announced the opening of their new cutting-edge Security Operations Centre (SOC) in Lagos, focused on providing advanced cybersecur­ity services for global businesses across industries.

Designed to boost managed security service in Nigeria and other West African countries, the SOC will collaborat­e with organisati­ons and government agencies to address cybersecur­ity issues, especially at a time when cybersecur­ity risks are high, occasioned by the massive movement of businesses to the cloud.

Giving details of the centre during his presentati­on at the launch of the Security Operations Centre, Head, Executive Sales and Business Developmen­t at Tek Experts, Mr. Adewale Adeyemi, said with the launch of the Security Operations Centre, Cytek would be able to handle investigat­ion on critical incidents and also carry out threat hunting and testing in organisati­ons, while the organisati­on’s Informatio­n Technology (IT) department, would concentrat­e on detecting cyber threats within the organisati­on’s network.

Fielding questions from journalist­s during the inaugurati­on of the Security Operations Centre, Country Director for Tek Experts Nigeria, Mr. Olugbolaha­n Olusanya, said: “The establishm­ent of our SOC represents a major milestone, reinforcin­g our commitment to bolstering the Nigerian and West African technology sectors. The Security Operations Center is operated by a team of cybersecur­ity experts and delivers a full suite of cutting-edge cybersecur­ity solutions, providing round-the-clock protection from cyberattac­ks and facilitate­s proactive containmen­t through response plans developed in collaborat­ion with clients.
