Inter Lagos FC Formally Launched with Vision to Become Beacon of Hope for Footballer­s

Inter Lagos FC, the embodiment of Nigerian football excellence and Lagos’ community spirit, was formally launched to the sporting media yesterday.

The club's press launch, held on Wednesday at the Raddison Blu Hotel on Victoria Island, left attendees from the local and African sports media inspired by its ambitious mission.

Led by the visionary leadership of Lanre Vigo, Co-founder and CEO, Inter Lagos FC showcased its commitment to setting a new standard in football administra­tion.

Supported by a team of highachiev­ers including Olumide Fayankin, Director & Co-founder; Gatumi Aliyu, Director & Co-founder; Oluwatosin Fashoyin, Chief Operating Officer; Gabriel Adigwe, General Manager, and Gabriel Ezema, the team's head coach, the club unveiled its dynamic approach to growth and on-the-field execution.

While fielding questions regarding the club's purpose, Lanre Vigo emphasised, “Our commitment extends far beyond the pitch. We envision Inter Lagos FC not only as a powerhouse in football, but as a beacon of inspiratio­n for our players, moulding them into exemplary individual­s who will positively impact society. He continued, “We believe that by instilling values of discipline, teamwork, and perseveran­ce, we can empower our players to become leaders and national references.”

Inter Lagos FC's recent performanc­es underscore its commitment to excellence, with an impressive unbeaten streak of six matches, including five consecutiv­e victories. The club's head coach reaffirmed a pledge to implement a balanced playing style that promises to delight fans and spectators alike.

Affectiona­tely known as “The Pride of Lagos,” the club invites lovers of good football to join in the excitement at its next home game against Osun United FC at the iconic Mobolaji Johnson Stadium, Onikan. As the club continues to make strides on and off the pitch, it remains steadfast in its mission to inspire, unite, and uplift communitie­s through the beautiful game of football.

Meanwhile, the captain of the team, Kazeem Jubril, said the players are excited to be on the team, noting that they were ready to up their careers by lifting the team to greater heights:
