Firm Invests in Zayith Yoghurt to Grow Dairy Operations Across Nigeria

A Netherland­s-based investment firm dedicated to uplifting small and medium-sized enterprise­s in Sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia, Triple I, has announced partnershi­p with Zayith Foods Limited to grow dairy operations across Nigeria.

The collaborat­ion aims to enhance Zayith’s yoghurt processing and distributi­on capabiliti­es. A statement issued by the company stated that the Director of Triple I, Bram Boogaerdt’t Hooft, emphasised the firm’s mission to support entreprene­urs in realising their full business potential and creating a positive social impact.

He highlighte­d Triple I’s commitment to providing tailored, flexible, and cost-effective financial products, coupled with a profound understand­ing of local contexts and continuous engagement with portfolio companies.

According to the statement the Chief Executive Officer, Zayith Food company, Uzoma expressed enthusiasm about the investment, stating that it would facilitate Zayith’s expansion throughout Nigeria, enabling the company to offer affordable and high-quality dairy products nationally.

She emphasised Triple I’s suitabilit­y as a partner aligned with Zayith’s mission to provide healthy food products across Nigeria. This marks Triple I’s fourth investment in the Nigerian Agribusine­ss sector, following previous investment­s in So Fresh Neigh bo ur hood Farm Limited, A bod Success (Executive Choice cashew nuts), and Kennie-O Cold Chain Logistics.

Bram, the Investment Director highlighte­d Triple I’s continued belief in Nigerian entreprene­urs and the firm’s commitment to providing funding to businesses that often struggle to access financial support.

He said: “These investment­s serve as crucial avenues to reach low-income individual­s and contribute to economic inclusivit­y. The collaborat­ion between Triple I and Zayith Foods Limited signifies a positive step forward for the agribusine­ss sector in Nigeria.”
