PDP Govs Seek FG, Masses' Support for Mutfwang in Plateau Crisis

Governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have urged the federal government, Plateau State people and all Nigerians, to support Governor Caleb Mutfwang of the state in his quest to address external and internal forces working against the peace and security of the state.

The PDP Governors' Forum (PDP-GF) made the appeal in a congratulatory message to Mutfwang, who clocked 59 years yesterday.

In the message signed by the Director-General of the Forum, Hon CID Maduabum, the PDP governors prayed God to grant Mutfwang the wisdom needed to succeed in restoring peace in Plateau State.

They assured him of their unalloyed support at all times for him to deliver democratic dividends to the people of the State.

“The Peoples Democratic Party Governors' Forum (PDP-GF), under the Chairmanship of Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, on behalf of all member-Governors, heartily felicitates H.E. Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, as he turns 59.

“On this joyous occasion, we join his family, friends, and indeed, all the people of Plateau State, to give all gratitude to the Almighty God for the grace to attain another milestone in sound mind and body.

“We are proud to have him as one of the pillars in the Forum as we journey together to better the lives of Nigerians in our individual States and Nigeria in general.

“We proudly note his immediate inroads on assumption of office as Governor of Plateau State in projects covering education, infrastructure, security and safety provision, local government service repositioning, improved civil service an workers' welfare, Healthcare service delivery, poverty reduction schemes, SME funding, amongst others.
